I am always eager to try new activities. While I'm not the star athlete or a fluent Spanish speaker, I do whatever I can to be part of those communities. I was psyched to be a team manager for the division champion SHS Varsity Girls Basketball team. Spanish Club is an opportunity to introduce me to different cultures and ultimately led to me studying and volunteering in Barcelona. The high school newspaper allowed me to combine my enthusiasm for sports with my interest in writing.
